Philip came into the room, pointed at this image and said,
"Look, the Pope! That is the new Pope!"
When the station cut to a commercial he asked, "Where is the Pope?"
Luckily the keys to the church were not handed down to a bird sitting on top of a chimney.
Habemus Papam!
Three things I am loving about Pope Francis:
1. He asked for the people to pray that God would bless him in his ministry before bestowing his first blessing.
2. Hearing about how he lives in a simple apartment, cooks his own meals, and takes the bus to work.
3. Taking the name Francis.
God bless our Holy Father! Please pray for him!
